Halve Maan

Halve Maan Brewery is a family-owned institution famous for its iconic Brugse Zot and Straffe Hendrik beers, maintaining a blend of tradition and innovation for over six centuries. For ecological reasons and to continue brewing in the heart of Bruges, the brewery built a pipeline to transport their beer 3.2kms to their out of town bottling plant. Such is the importance of the brewery to the people of Bruges, and vise versa, the project was partly crowd funded.
